My effort to make the world a better place through the Art of Photography. An opportunity for visitors to spend a few minutes respite from the chaos in the world as we know it. To take a few minutes out of a busy life to enjoy the color, shape and form of those things around us that we encounter most every day yet often overlook. To see the pastel color of a Blue Skimmer dragonfly, the vivid oranges of a Gulf Fritillary butterfly, a breathtaking sunset or perhaps be ushered back in time by the emotion or nostalgia of a moment that reminds the viewer of simpler days.

Renowned French Photographer and Environmentalist Yann Arthus Bertrand, is quoted, “The Earth is Art, the Photographer is only a witness.”   The galleries in this website reflect my efforts to capture some of the moments reflecting the art of the world we inhabit, the world we are a witness to.  Our life seems to be the fullest when we are aware of our surroundings and realize the beauty of the art created by the colors, shapes and forms experienced each day, each moment. There’s so much to see if we just pay attention.

I hope you enjoy the galleries and will come back to visit as often as you can. I will be adding other photos to the existing galleries and adding other galleries over time.  In addition to the photo galleries, I have included a page to be used for things like prose and verse, short paragraphs of interest, words of encouragement and inspiration or simply reflect something I find humorous or witty.  It isn’t a blog and those items will be rotated in and out or moved to an archive after a period of time to make room for something new.

After spending some time visiting my website and galleries, I hope you can approach each day with an even greater appreciation for the beauty of the art hidden in plain sight.  Art that is seldom acknowledged yet ever present.  Those Moments in Time that are the Art of life.
